Worsbrough Bridge Miners Welfare F.C. are a football club based in Barnsley & joined the Yorkshire Football League Division Three in 1971. In the 1990-91 season, they reached the 3rd round of the FA Vase. They are members of the Northern Counties East Football League Division One. The club was founded as Worsbrough Bridge Miners Welfare in 1923 and became founder members of the Northern Counties East League when the Yorkshire League merged with the Midland Counties League in 1982.
